I’m a visual artist who works on the border between design and art, experimenting with different techniques.
I work with handcraft silkscreening methods. In general, my schablonen [templates, or stencils] are handmade, though I some times employ stencil and photogravure. Recently, I’m working with Oriental resist dyeing techniques.
I make limited editions of original textile pieces. My designs result from multiple influences. At the moment, I’m developing the Nikei collection, which combines traditional Japanese designs with pre-Columbian American images.
