Sleeping on the Ceiling at Hotel Bonito

Taking a break from arteBA, Juanele visited the opening of Juan Tessi’s “Intervention“ on Sunday evening at Bonito, the cozy hotel located on the third floor of an antique building in Montserrat. The hotel regularly invites artists to merge their work with the architecture and design of its five rooms.

Tessi decided to transform the ceiling of the “Jerrica Benton“ #303 room with a gorgeous, voluptuous painting eliciting wet summer dreams with its association of images and colors. Meanwhile, a portrait of none other than Tony Ward hides in a small corner of the staircase that leads towards the bed. His butt is on the ceiling.

It was a very warm winter night, embellished by the performance of Los Labios, the post-neo-tropical band led by Lulu Jankilevich and flooded by a deep red Borsch.
